Our journey into dog sledding began 3 years ago when Josh and I took a 2 day tour with Choc Paw out of South River, Ontario.  We had the bug.  The dogs were friendly, and each had their own personality.  Our team included 6 dogs, and the most beautiful ride through the Algonquin trails.  It was a lot of work, but paid off when we hit the snow with our team.  Those who were also dog sledding with us thought we were crazy when we popped a tent in the snow for overnight.  If you met us, you would think it's just normal!  On the second day, we woke refreshed and ready to go again.  We felt connected to each and every dog, and our heart broke when we had to leave them.  Who knew that 3 years later, we would adopt Zeus. One of the wonderful dogs from our team.  We now have 12 dogs in total and love each one like our own child.

We get approximately 6 months of snow each season. Be sure to check out our ATV Trails link to see what we do in the spring/summer season. Josh is always going places he shouldn't go, and taking me with him. If you can't have snow, have fun anyways.

We're always looking for new equipment and any helpful tips to running a safe, and healthy season.  Please contact us by clicking the link.

We would like to mention a few of the people involved in our journey.  These people have helped us tremendously and have provided us with knowledge, equipment, and nurturing. Thank you.
